Nothing personal, but, speaking as a bald man, none of them work. Despite never trying anything to prevent or regrow my hair, I already knew that there isn't any remedy of any type other than to do the following; accept that you are losing your hair and shave what remains off and go completely bald, as I do (although I also wear hats), invest A LOT of money in hairplug transplants, or get a wig or toupee'. Don't waste your money on any so-called herbal remedies.Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?

Stop wasting your money on those expensive product. I am a certified Herbalist. The treatment I am about to provide you must be used twice a day. THis pure grade essential oil can be purchased through Young living.com. DO not be fooled by imitation essential oils that are 80% alcohol. The alcohol will dry out your scalp too much.
To prevent hair loss:
10 drops of deadwood
8 drops rosemary
10 drops Sandalwood
10 drops Lavender
Combine and mix this blend into a Shampoo base (like Herbal essence or Suave Clarifying shampoo)Which one of the hairloss treatment is better, Dr. Lewenberg formula or Rogaine? please answer with facts.?

Has anyone used a really good hairloss treatment that really works that will see new hair growth?
The most powerful hair loss treatments are based on minoxidil (Rogaine, Regaine) and finasteride, but you can suffer side affects.
There are also herbal hair loss ranges like Nisim that definitely stop hair loss from progressing.
Like most people suffering from hair loss you will need to experiment with a few products and see which one works best for you...Has anyone used a really good hairloss treatment that really works that will see new hair growth?
lard worked for me just check my avatar
if its for you sorry ,tough break keep trying
if it's for a/you're man, shave baby shave
so much easierHas anyone used a really good hairloss treatment that really works that will see new hair growth?
Yup, I have...
MY LITTLE COUSIN HAD HAIRLOSS PROBLEMS AND SHE USED NIPROXIN..ITS GREAT !!
nothing works except Rogaine
even then.. if no results after 4 months daily use stop wasting your $
I discover by using a negative ions hat every night you will no t lost hair and on top of that you will have new hair going, even people with white hair used them new hair growth turn out to be black. Believe it or not? Check it out with me at lyng_chan@yahoo.co.au
If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called ';Nourishair'; in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a ';Hair skin and nails'; formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.
As to the cost of Nourishair, it is about 10 dollars for a one month supply.
WOW , look at that.....miss ';I heart horses'; there just completely stole my answer from a previous question via ';copy and paste'; and is passing my words off as her own.
My answer is about the GNC UltraNourishair and ProCaps labs capsules...
I have taken the GNC pills for 4 months and supplemented them with extra Biotin because they only have 1200 mcg of Biotin and you should try for a minimum of 2500 micrograms.
I am switching to Procaps labs capsules when I run out of the GNC because Procaps formula has more Biotin in a more pure form with more of the trace elements that support healthy hair growth.
I take about 5000 micrograms which equals 5 milligrams of Biotin daily and my hair is growing fast and thick and dark.
well treatments are gud..but some help u get ur hair lost more..so take care ur hair more carefully without any treatments

Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?
No, there is no such thing. The only thing that has ever been proven to help hairloss that you can buy at the store is ROGAINE.
Hair loss is hereditary. You got it from your mother's side of the family. And there is not much you can do about it.
Here's more info:
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-in…Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?
';There are herbal hair loss remedies that will help you to regrow shiny, health and strongly rooted hair, while also helping to keep your current hair on your head. The herbal remedy we recommend is called Provillus, and it's a top notch hair loss remedy that will noticebly strengthen your hair and grow a thicker, more resillient hair - with herbs, not man made medications that may cause side effects.';
The other option, of course, is to try one of the most effective herbal hair loss remedies offered by a reputable herbal products manufacturer that's been around for years, and continues to make the most effective and talked about remedies on the market today.
While there is still no “magic bullet” that can 100% promise every man (and woman) who takes it will re-grow their hair, this one is the closest thing to a highly effective alternative to other products on the market which may not have worked for you like Rogaine and other hair loss remedies that didn't necessarily deliver results.
Your other options currently are Propecia, Rogaine (Monoxadil), Avacor and Proxiphen which are commonly prescribed hair loss products today, and they’ve all had varying degrees of success in re-growing client’s hair. These products claim to regrow hair in an alotted amount of time as well as help to grow stronger hair, but they do not work for everyone. The alternative is Provillus which is a highly rated herbal hair loss remedy, for its effectiveness, reasonable cost and great success rate.

Do hairloss-treatment products like Rogaine work?
And I don't mean just making your hair look thicker. Or just prolonging the inevitable baldness. I mean, are there any hair-loss treatment products out there that actually makes hair grow back and look good? :P I'm still pretty young, so I'm hoping there are.Do hairloss-treatment products like Rogaine work?
There's a pill - finasteride (brand name Propecia) that blocks the metabolization of testesterone into its active form, so it will help male-pattern hair loss.
In a 5-year study of men with mild to moderate hair loss, 48% of those treated with Propecia (finasteride 1mg) experienced some regrowth of hair, and 42% had no further loss. Propecia is effective only for as long as it is taken; the hair gained or maintained is lost within 6-12 months of ceasing therapyDo hairloss-treatment products like Rogaine work?

Does anyone know of a hairloss treatment that actually works?
I've tried stuff like Rogaine but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know a product that doesnt cost a fortune and actually works? I would just be happy to find one that works.Does anyone know of a hairloss treatment that actually works?
I know, I know, you put a lot of value in your looks and hair is very important to you. However... (and you knew that was coming) be very careful. A friend of mine has to travel about 100 miles one way every month for treatments to keep his plants, or whatever, growing. And remember there are about 200,000 Marines with a thick full head of hair and they shave it.Does anyone know of a hairloss treatment that actually works?
Hair loss can be anything from a reduction in volume and thinning in the front to clumps of hair falling out at alarming rates. Whatever the problem is, diagnosis is necessary to get proper treatment for hair loss. Sometimes the hair loss is due to medical problems. Other times it may be just be the overuse of strong chemicals that is causing the hair loss. Either way, natural hair loss treatment is a treatment used by many people successfully.
Just as with the rest of your body, you can nourish your scalp and hair with a healthy diet. The correct foods has the ability to alleviate a number of health issues, Food such as fish, vegetables and eggs which are rich in iron, zinc, calcium and silica are just great for your hair and is oveall, a healthier approach to solving a hair loss problem.
Finding the reason for your hair loss is solving half the problem. After that appropriate maintenance and preventive action should be taken. Simple things to consider might be when brushing your hair, use a natural bristle brush and never brush when your hair is wet. Use a wide tooth comb only to gently untangle, otherwise, you're literally pulling your hair out by the roots.
A good head massage once in a week is a good way to stimulate blood flow into your head. Make sure you get a good 8 hours worth of sleep everyday and avoid stress. Take care of your hair like your face and body. By including good habits into your lifestyle, you hair will be shining and growing happily soon. Wash your hair after immediately after a swim and avoid wearing hats for extended periods as your scalp also needs to breathe.
What should you stay away from? Harmful hair dryers, sprays, styling gels and strong shampoos. All these contain harmful chemicals that could cause more harm to your hair. What are the options? Go organic, use products made from natural products. These are available widely now. Instead of hair dryers, leave your hair to dry naturally. We are continually damaging our hair by smoking, consuming alcohol, sodas and eating the wrong foods and foregoing exercising. Get active and drink 8 glasses of water daily. Have a hair cut or trim every couple of months to keep your hair healthy.
These days, there are specially formulated hair and nail supplements made with natural ingredients with no side effects. If you prefer natural hair loss treatments, you could try the herbal products available in health %26amp; wellness markets. Holistic aromatherapy and natural therapies offered by professionals are also an alternative. While it is not a natural product, just as common now is to use Minoxidil which helps hair to grow. Many use it and has been around for many years now. One known downside is that hair loss ceases once use of the product is discontinued. There are also a number of harmful side effects associated with Minoxidil.
Be it heredity or a medical diagnosis, hair loss is an uncomfortable ailment. Natural hair loss treatments can be tried by almost anyone. They are generally safe as long as they are used as directed. Of course if you have known allergies to herbal products, then, your options are limited, but in general, they are a smart alternative to expensive hair regrowth treatments such as hair transplantation or laser treatment.
BTW, it's an open secret that low thyroid functionalities can lead to hair loss 98% of the time; so it's good to improve your thyroid's health level by supplementing with some natural remedies too. Please see below for which one to get for your purpose.
Hope all this helps you a bit...

These are the herbs that I have seen produce the best results in clinic over the last 24 years. I've seen them work miracles! Combine them with a great Vitamin B supplement. It will take 3-6 months to reverse the underlying deficiencies that lead to hair loss.

Should I change my hairloss treatments?
I'm currently using Proscar, Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle, Spectral DNC with rogaine and Revita shampoo. I've notice a lot of shedding in the last 2 months from using Revita, Spectral DNC. I just started using stinging nettle a few weeks ago and notice a real increase in hair loss. Should I stop the stinging nettle or any of the others. How long should I be going through a shedding fase? I'm concerned its getting worse and not better since my hair looks so much thinner.Should I change my hairloss treatments?
That's a lot of stuff...
I've had good hairline growth from Rogaine Foam and Nizoral 2% from amazon.com
all I use... propecia would probably make it better, but that stuff messes with my hormones.
Check out www.hairlosstalk.com especially the forums.

I don't like the sound of this cocktail you are on. The only product you mention that has any shown efficacy for hair loss is the Proscar, which like the others, comes with loads of side effects and may not even work for you.
It seems like a lot of ongoing effort, expense and risk to avoid going bald like 50% of men. But if you want to keep trying then you should discuss your meds with a doctor.
I've been bald for years and it hasn't effected my life one little bit, except that it is low maintenance.

Is their a website that has a non-bias test for hairloss treatments?
A lot of websites offer so called studies that compare the effects of all the hair loss treatments but they are acually just there to glorify their own treatments. is there any non-bias test results out there? Is their a website that has a non-bias test for hairloss treatments?
Yep. The FDA has a site and the facts and so does the American Academy of Dermatolgy (aad.org), American Dermalogy Association, and The Board of Dermatology.
There are oral medications for men now besides topical treatments that actually work. The topicals stop working when you stop using them. Doctors are a good resource sometimes, but a dermatologist is better.
Good luck to you. Hope this helps.
WebMD is always a good resource for medical; The Cleveland Clinic is as well and so is the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
FYI: Monoxidil is topical and is used by both men and women and finesteride is an oral med. that works only on male hormones to stop hairloss. Save your money and get a treatment that actually works and is approved by the FDA and AAD.Is their a website that has a non-bias test for hairloss treatments?
Yes, email any dermatologist. ill tell you exactly what to do, as i just went through this. 1. Make an appointment with a dermatoligist, and get a biopsy to make sure it is male pattern hair loss and not anything else. 2. If it is get on propecia right away and do not stop taking it, trust me this stuff works, your hair will stop falling out and might regrow in some areas. 3. If what you lost really bothers you i recomend a transplant, dont go to bosely as they rip you off on grafts find a doctor in your area youll be suprised on what kind of deal you can get. basically if you see a regular doctor, dermatologist, or a transplant doctor tehy are all going to tell you to take the propecia wich i have been doing for a year and i noticed after 2 months after getting out of the shower my hair wasnt falling out anymore. good luck to you

Probably you already know that the most common form of hair loss in both men and women is androgenic alopecia (also known as androgenetic alopecia.)
In males, this condition is known as male-pattern baldness because there is a well-defined pattern of lost hair -- over time the hairline recedes forming the ';M'; shape. Hair does not only recede but also becomes thinner, often progressing to total baldness. It's exactly what you experience.
As the recent research found out, male-pattern baldness is primarily caused by the increased level of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT.) It is not yet completely understood how DHT affects the scalp but it is known that if a person is genetically prone to baldness, DHT may initiate the process of so-called follicular miniaturization. This process can begin as early as the end of puberty. Follicular miniaturization leads to hair becoming progressively thinner and thinner until it is completely lost.
How can hair loss be prevented and reversed?
The good news is that it is possible to prevent and reverse baldness. Since it is primarily caused by the excess amounts of DHT, the obvious solution is to decrease the level of DHT. This can be done using synthetic chemical drugs or natural treatments.
As for the drugs - such as Propecia or Rogaine - their effectiveness is not universally accepted. Also, being synthetic chemicals, they have many side effects, including gynecomastia (growth of breasts in males), erectile dysfunction, chest pain, blurred visions etc.
Are there any alternatives to chemical drugs?

start taking the supplement biotin and massaging your scalp with olive or coconut oil :: stay away from shampoos with sls (sles) in them as they actually cause the hair to thin and are in most shampoos =\

Have you had a chance to do an internet search on it?
You might be able to find more info. about this product doing a Google search using the product name FABAO.
I believe that a good herbal treatment for hair loss has something to do with a certain type of B vitamin. I am not sure what the exact name is, but a friend of mine had asked a nutrition specialist at Vitamin Shoppe, and this is what she was told. You might want to go to one of your local vitamin shops and ask this question.

All the things you mentioned are rubbish. I have been taking Finasteride from my doctor (the only proven way to regrow/maintain hair). I use this with minoxidil and use nizoral shampoo every other day.
Ive been doing this for 1 year now and regrew a bit of hair and havent lost any. Have a look at this site, helped me out alot and gives proven methods by people who use these products themeslves.

The shampoo and minoxidil are available in any good supermarket/drugstore. The finasteride, most people buy online (should be a link on that site i told you about). Otherwise go to your doctor and ask him about the Finasteride, you should be able to get it on prescription.

Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?
Nothing personal, but, speaking as a bald man, none of them work. Despite never trying anything to prevent or regrow my hair, I already knew that there isn't any remedy of any type other than to do the following; accept that you are losing your hair and shave what remains off and go completely bald, as I do (although I also wear hats), invest A LOT of money in hairplug transplants, or get a wig or toupee'. Don't waste your money on any so-called herbal remedies.Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?
There is nothing that works for hair fall out. That is if you taking all vitamins that u need. If you lose it, its all genetic and you cant get it back period.Does anyone know herbal hairloss treatment that works?
Kentucky blue grass seed extract. Rub it in with lots of water and it grows man.

Has any body used hairloss treatment does it realy work?
Both Regaine (minoxidil) and Finasteride, sold as Propecia, do work in a percentage of males. However not everyone gets useful hair growth. Both preparations need to be used indefinitely or any hair gained is rapidly lost, so they do end up expensive in the long term.Has any body used hairloss treatment does it realy work?
ive had a transplant it works ive used minoxidil with no results ive used nourikrin no results and im currently using a lasercomb for 4 months no results but will give it a fair trial about a year

What is the best hairloss treatment, regaine, nourkin or apopecia?
I don't know about regaine or apopecia but I can tell you that I've tried nourikin and it didn't make any difference to my hair at all! I took those tablets for six months and - nothing!!!! I'm trying acupuncture now. What is the best hairloss treatment, regaine, nourkin or apopecia?
Many have tried all the commercial products and found they simply do not do what they claim. They do stop loss or grow new hair. I did a lot of research and this NATURAL treatment was the only one I found that truly works. It stops thinning %26amp; loss almost straight away and forces new growth. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth is slower, but has grown a lot and though sparse at beginning, each month it becomes denser. Massage thoroughly with natural oils - olive oil is excellent - then brush vigorously using a brush with stiff short bristles so you really feel it stimulating scalp (90 /100 strokes or even more each day focusing on where loss is). Will unplug blocked hair ducts indicated by painful small spots like pimples and a cause of hair loss and It will grow faster, thicker and It will force the new growth. Brushing before you apply oil is equally OK. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as hair gets anchored and stronger. Initially hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results. I've found most do not persevere and so fail to get them. But I have just heard from someone on Answers and he is also having great results. He started treatment in January and has had a lot of new growth.
Genetics probably are a factor in hair loss. My immediate family members have severe loss. I believe this treatment saved me from the same fate. Try it you will be happy that you did!

Is fresh aloe vera plant or processed aloe gel (in a bottle) better for scalp and hairloss treatment??
I am only in my early 20s and for a year now I have suffered from tremedous hair loss and my scalp gets so dry and itchy that it bleeds sometimes. I've tried all type of shampoo but they are not working. I came upon that Aloe Vera is very good for hair loss treatment. I

fresh aloe is always better... it ill help with scalp problems but it wont help regrow hair...Is fresh aloe vera plant or processed aloe gel (in a bottle) better for scalp and hairloss treatment??
well there's up sides and sown sides to the fresh aloe and the premade stuff.
fresh aloe: pro(s)- it doesn't have fragrance that can cause irritation and other such chemicals
con- it smells awful
premade stuff: pro(s)- it doesn't have the awful smell and it may have some extra moisturizers and vitamins that the fresh doesn';t
con- it have the chemicals and stuff that may be harmful to a sensitive scalp
It seems also that you may wanna focus more on a moisturizing conditioner than shampoos
shampoos take away oils and stuff from the hair and scalp
